Our mission is to provide teachers with the skills and tools needed to help their students become fluent, independent readers.<\/p>\n

Our multisensory, structured reading and spelling curricula, Fundations\u00ae<\/sup>, Just Words\u00ae<\/sup>, and the Wilson Reading System\u00ae<\/sup>, provide the tools to achieve this goal. Wilson also brings to the task three decades of professional learning and ongoing teacher support.<\/p>\n

Wilson Fundations (Grades K-3)<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Wilson Fundations<\/a>\u00a0is an approved program in NYC, to be used as a supplement to the core and as an intervention. Fundations is integral to a Response to Intervention (RTI) model by providing scientifically-based instruction in Tier 1 (general education) and Tier 2 (early intervention)\u00a0for at-risk\u00a0students. Children who require intervention can receive additional small-group Fundations lessons that will correspond to\u00a0and reinforce the instruction that\u00a0occurs\u00a0in the general education classroom.<\/p>\n

Fundations was selected by the New York City Board of Education for use in elementary schools throughout the district. Fundations was selected as one of three phonics skills programs to accompany the main ELA choice.
